WoW Forever Guild Loot Rules

At launch, Sons of Honor uses a transparent, guardrailed Loot Council / Slot Reserve system (Loot Desk) for organized guild raid content.

Goals

  • Put meaningful upgrades where they help most
  • Spread loot fairly across the raid
  • Avoid secretive “officer’s buddy gets the sword” decisions

Basics

  1. Main Spec (meaningful upgrade for your assigned raid role) before Off Spec
  2. Before invites: 1 Primary Slot Reserve + optional 1 Secondary Slot Reserve (gear categories, not item names — Forever loot tables are new/unknown)
  3. Contested MS is decided by the Loot Desk using public priorities (loot already received that night, slot reserves, Experienced vs Recruit, upgrade meaningfulness, recent loot/attendance, preparation, then roll if needed)
  4. Contested awards are posted with a short reason

How a contested drop is decided

Main Spec comes before Off Spec. When more than one raider wants the same main-spec item, the Loot Desk weighs these public priorities:

  • Loot already received that night
  • Slot Reserves
  • Experienced vs Recruit status
  • How meaningful the upgrade is
  • Recent loot and attendance
  • Preparation

If the priorities do not settle it, the item is rolled. Every contested award is posted with a short reason, so anyone in the raid can see why an item went where it did.

Slot Reserves in plain terms

Before invites, each raider names one Primary Slot Reserve and may add one Secondary Slot Reserve. These are gear categories, not item names. We do it this way because Forever’s raid loot tables are new and not yet known.
